PhoneBanana is a trading name of Ultimate Image Ltd (company no. 12602498), the data controller for this site. This policy explains what we collect when you use phonebanana.co.uk and order from us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, delivery and billing address, phone model, and what you ordered. We need these to make and deliver your case and to contact you about it (legal basis: contract).
- Your design — the photo or artwork you upload and how you positioned it on the case. We use it only to print your order and to handle any reprint (legal basis: contract).
- Payment — taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account — if you create one, your login and order history.
- Site usage — basic analytics and cookies needed for the basket and checkout to work.
Your uploaded photos
Uploads are stored privately on our server with an unguessable file name; they aren’t listed anywhere on the site or used for anything except your order. We keep them for 90 days after your order is completed so we can reprint if there’s a problem, then delete them. If you upload a photo but don’t order, it’s deleted within 30 days. Please only upload images you have the right to use and that don’t include other people without their agreement.
Who we share it with
Only the people who help us fulfil your order: Stripe (payment), Royal Mail (delivery), our hosting provider 20i (UK), and our own production systems used to print your case. We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share your photos with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Order records for 6 years (tax and accounting law). Uploaded photos as above. Account details until you ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (except what we must keep by law). Email hello@phonebanana.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the basket, checkout and login, and basic analytics to see how the site is used. No advertising cookies.
